INDEX

[974] The Oliphant History states Samuel's birth was in 1856; the 1860 and 1870 census records list an age that would indicate that he was born in abt 1858. The 1900 census, which lists the actual year that a person was born, has 1859 as the birth year.

Sam's occupation in the 1900 census is listed as Farmer.

[2426] They lived in Dickson County TN for several years and in about 1902 they moved to Williamson Co TN
