INDEX

[928] The Oliphant history has Andrew's middle name as Dowd, and indeed some hand-written letters from his family look like Dowd is the middle name. One of his descendents corrects this and says that the middle name is actually David and it just looks like Dowd.

[2415] The FTM index listed in the sources lists the marriage data as the 2nd of October. The info that TM Oliphant had may have been in error, or 10/02 could have been the date of the bond, with the marriage ceremony taking place on the 4th.
