Don't know her birth date, but "she once stated to her daughter Jennie, that she was twenty five years old when she married". She married in 1874, making her birth year about 1849.
Her age in the 1850 census (the family was enumerated in October) is one month old, so it would seem that her birth year was 1850. Her age in the 1860 census was listed as 8, which would seem to indicate a birth date of 1852. Her birth date in the 1870 census is 20, which would indicate a birth date of 1850.
In the 1880 census Charlotte is married to Andrew Hite and living in Davidson County. In the 1900 census, she is the head of the household with her children, so apparently her husband has died.
