Wilson Co., Tn Deed Book O, page 132, William Drennan received from his father, Thomas S. Drennan Sr., 80 acres on Sugg's Creek, 27 Feb 1832.
15 Oct 1835 William was listed as living in Haywood Co., Tn. when his other siblings gave a quit claim deed to the land that his father owned at the time of his death.
9 Aug 1836, William Drennan witnessed a deed when John Shane sold Joseph F. Drennan land.
1840 Census, William Drennan listed in Wilson Co., Tn.
13 Jan 1841, Kitty Eddings, wife of William Drennan was listed in her father's will recorded 3 Nov 1841.
21 May 1842, William Drennan witnessed a deed of G. W. Hewgley to Hardena S. Drennan, 110 acres in the 25th district, "it being my dower from Thomas Drennan". The other witness was Gasaway Peach, brother-in -law to William and Hardinor.
William Drennan was living in Wilson Co., Tn according to the 1850 Federal Census. His mother Ann age 83, born in Maryland was listed as living with him.
1860 & 1870 Federal Census William Drennan was living in Wilson Co., Tn.
25 Mar 1879, William Drennan made his will. Heirs listed were: children and grandchildren to wit, James M. Drennan, D. J. Drennan, Rebecca Telford, Caroline Williams, Thomas F. Drennan, Chinthia McMenaway, Elizabeth Eakes, Mary Jane Johnson, Martha McMenaway, Lucinda Drennan and Ann Telford.
18 Feb 1880, sale was held, R. A. Telford was administrator.
