INDEPENDENCE COUNTY, ARKANSAS
In the name of God Amen I Delphy DRENNON of County of Independence and State of Arkansas Knowning the uncertainty of this Immortal life but being of sound mind do make this my last will and Testament (To wit) First I give unto my Daughter Ann ROBERTSON the sum of five dollars; Then I give to my Daughter Rebecca WEST all the balance of my property and at her death to be distributed among her bodily heirs; in witness whereoff I have set my hand and seal this 15th day of December AD 1838

Now on this day Personally appeared in open Court Alfred ARNOLD and after being duly sworn do deposeth and Sayeth that he is one of the subscribing witness to the above Last will and Testament of Delphen Drennon, and that She weak in Body the sound in mind to all appearance when she made her mark and Acknowledged the same to be her act and deed for the uses and purposes therein expressed and that William ARNOLD the other subscribed his name as such at the same time and this presence and further deponent (?Saith) not
In Testimony where of I Charles H. Pelham Clerk of the County
and Probate Court in and for the County Aforesaid do hereby set
my hand and affix the seal of Said Court at my office in
Batesville this 8th day of October AD 1839 and of the
Independence of the United States the sixty fourth year.
