INDEX

[109] In 1850 census (P.451), he is living two homesteads down from father, Charles. He has $1800 worth of land.

In 1860 census, occupation is listed as Farmer. In his home are wife Elizabeth, and children Frances, Ashley, Martha, Nancy, Henrietta, Charles E., Judith, and Georgiana.

1870 census, p. 675, District 25, Wilson Co. TN; Charles & Elizabeth have in their home Francis, Nancy, Charles E., Geo, and Josephine.

In the 1880 census, Charles, Elizabeth, and their family have moved to District 15 of Davidson Co TN. In their home are their daughters Fannie (age 30), Georgia H (19), and Jessie (16). There are also two granddaughters (L.P. Fuqua, and Nanie Fuqua) and a 12 yo black servant named S. Hall. It would seem like Fanny would be a nickname for daughter Francis, but the age on the census was 30 - considerably younger than Francis at this time. Closer in age is Nancy, who married a Fuqua, and there are two of her children in the house at this time, so maybe Fanny is her...
