[101] Fountain is still in his mother's home in the 1870 census. He is missing from that home in the 1880 census. A new household exists in that census, that of F. E. Hewgley, age 38.

Fountain is the only male Hewgley with a given name that begins with an F in that age range in my database of names. I believe this is him.

Also in the home in the 1880 census is a Nancy Bond (age 28) and a Matt Hobson (age 58). No relationship is listed.
