UNDERWOOD, Mr. Valerie Davis Harper -
Age 80, of 1806 B 5th Ave. North, Tuesday, March 12, 1974 at a local infirmary. Survived by husband, Edgar Underwood of Nashville; duaghter, Mrs. Joe (Edna) Barnes of Ashland City, Rt. 3; sons, Orman Harper of Nashville, J.M. Harper of Carlisle, Pa.; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Virgil Hewgley, Mrs. Dollie Fowler of Nashville, Mrs. Johnnie Casey, Mrs. Augusta Mayo of Ashland City, Mrs. Thelma Nelson of Florida, Brs. Bessie Morgan of Balkley, Ga. Remains are at the Beuna Vista Funeral Home 3634 Clarksville Hwy. in Bordeaux, where service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. conducted by Bro. W. H. Pirtle. Active pallbearers Jimmy Wolfe, Billy Cunningham, Jack Marpo, Billy Pentecost, Charles Elliott, Clyde Allen. Interment Forrest Hill Cemetery, Ashland City.
