In 1850 census (p. 438), Samuel is 63 years old and living in District 25 of Wilson County by himself. He is living next door, however, to 36 yo George and Mary Hugley, so it is possible that George is related to him - son, nephew, or grandson?
In 1860 census (p.473), Samuel resides in District 25 of Wilson County by himself.
In 1870 census, Samuel is living in the home of Charles Jenkins, son of Jemima Hugeley Jenkins.
