Abraham's will mentions a son George W., as does his later land sale to son John (see notes on Abraham). There are two George's in the 1850 census; this George and another, who was born in 1814 and married to a Mary (p. 438 of the 1850 Wilson Co Census). Both live in District 25, along with Abraham and others of the Hewgley family. Neither, though, live in particularly close proximity to Abraham. Both have named a daughter Sarah, but neither has children named Abraham, Job, or Tabitha (though see note below about move to Missouri). Abraham's census records from 1810-1840, however, make it relatively clear as to which of these George's is Abraham's son.
From the 1850 census records, we can estimate this George's birth year as 1799, and the other George as 1814. This would make this George 11 in 1810 and 21 in 1820 (he shouldn't be in Abraham's home in 1830, since he was married in 1823). The other George wouldn't be alive in 1810, would be 6 in 1820, 16 in 1830, and 26 in 1840. After canceling out the other male children in the family (Abraham, John, Alfred, and Lewis), there is an extra male in both the 1810 and 1820 census in the age category that this George would fall into; and in none of the 1810-1830 censuses is there an extra male in the age category that the other George would fall into. Additionally, the extra male does drop out of Abraham's house in the 1830 census as we expect; and that is also the first census in which a George shows up as a head of household.
A review of the 1830-1840 census records for George show two young females in the home that are older than any of the daughters we know of. There are two girls under 5yo in the 1830 census (before George had any daughters that we know of). There are two girls in the 10-14yo range in the 1840 census (at this point Rachel would have been 2yo). They likely were married before the 1850 census and out of the home.
Wade Drennan lists Cordelia Hewgley, who married Woodson Cawthorn as one of these daughters, though I don't know the source.

In 1850 Census George and Rachel Hewgley are living in District 25 of Wilson County, with the following children: Thomas, Hiram, Rachel, Sarah, James, Maria, & George.
Sometime between 1850 and 1860 the family moved to Missouri, along with some members of Rachel's family, including her brothers Joseph Drennan and Thomas Drennan Jr. Marjorie Hewgley Northern (great-grandaughter of William through his son Samuel) has a letter that mentions this event. The letter is dated March 24 1854 and was written by Charity Ricks Wright, a contemporary of George Hewgley who lived in the same district of Wilson County. In the letter, she states that "George Hughley and his son William and David Drennen [husband of Elvira Hewgley] started last week to Missura". By 1857 son Hiram is married to a woman from Missouri and has a child, so that matches well with this information.
In 1860 George is living in Hickory Co Missouri, Township 37 of Range 21. Census record:
George W. Hugle 60 M W Farmer 800 150 VA
Rachele 57 F W Tenn
Moriah J. 16 F W Tenn
George W. 14 M W Tenn
Next door is Hiram, and a few doors down is James.
It is interesting to note that also in the 1860 census after George's family has moved to MO, that there is a 30 yo Abraham Heugley living in the same county. Perhaps George *did* have a son named Abraham. The age is right in line with Thomas' age; perhaps he was Thomas Abraham or Abraham Thomas.
In the 1870 census Rachel is living in the home of a Clement Ashley in Stark, Hickory MO. Evidently George died sometime between 1860 and 1870.
Vivian Hull quotes the following source: George W. Hugueley, Dempsey D. Smith and William Johnson charged with gaming. 26-DEC-1832. Not sure what the original source is.
