In parents' home in 1860. Missing in 1870 census, as is the rest of his family. Was married sometime during this period, with issue. In 1880, he is married to Amanda. In the 1910 census, it notes that this is the second marriage for Thomas, the first for Amanda, and that they'd been married for 30 years - making the time of their marriage about 1880. Each of the four children that were listed in their home in 1880 were born before this time. It is possible that the youngest, Maggie, could have been by Amanda, depending on when their marriage really did take place. In the 1910 census it shows that Amanda had had two children of her own, but only one was still living. There are no children living in the home at that time.
In the 1910 census, Thomas and Mandy are living in Mt. Juliet in Wilson Co.
In 1920 census, Thomas and Mandy are still living in Wilson County, in District 24.
