[2216] Census records between 1850 - 1880 consistently list her name as starting with a 'C'; family records held by Janna Johns list her name as "Syntha", as does her tombstone. Her maiden name is from Ms. Johns.

Her age in those same census records would indicate that her birthdate was between 1808 and 1810. Ms. Johns' records have the 8 Feb 1810 date.
