INDEX

[2032] Per daughter Mary, there were four girls and one boy in the family. Mary's historical sketch mentions sisters Jane and Lucida. The 1860 census shows a Nancy, Lucinda, Nancy E (Mary), and William F. in the home. In the 1880 census Annie is living in daughter Mary's home, with two children, Louis (18) and Maggie (age 8). Maggie is too young to have been a child of Lewis', and it appears that her marital status in this record is 'D' for divorced. Based on that, one can surmise that either she was married to another Richardson after the death of Lewis and divorced that husband, or that she married another man and went back to her Richardson name after the divorce.

William Tidwell's FTM website (http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/t/i/d/William-P-Tidwell/GENE8-0017.html#CHILD61) says that her second husband was Robert Walker, married on November 22, 1860. Sistler's Marriages of Dickson County has a marriage between Anna Tidwell(not Richarson?) and Robert Walker on that date.

In the 1850 census, Lewis is living in his father's home. In the 1860 census he is married with children in Dickson County.

Have picture of grave stone. Appears to read, "L.M. Richardson/Born May 27, 1820/Died/Sept 20, 1862". However, census records seem to indicate an 1829 date - for example, 1860 census lists him as age 31. The 1829 date matches the information from Janna Johns.
