His profession is listed as wagon maker in the 1850 and 1860 census. 1870 census lists his occupation as Farmer.

Living in Jefferson, Rutherford Co, TN in 1850 census with wife Martha Steger Oliphint and children.

In 1860 census, Isaac is living in Davidson County. Martha is not in the home; assuming that she has died prior to this.

In 1870 census Isaac is living in Wilson County, and is married to Mary.

Isaac's family is living in Madison County in 1880, and Isaac is not in the home. Apparently he died prior to this.
